Finding half

This week we have been really busy learning all about half. We now know that 1/2 means two equal parts and we used this knowledge to solve problems. Real fruit and vegetables were a little bit tough for us to cut so we used play dough to show Oliver how he could give his Grandad half. We even suggested that there is more than one way to find half of the fruit.
